The 8 recently modernized apartments are located in a top location and have a magnificent view over Lagun Bay and the Caribbean Sea. The apartments are available in two versions, apartments for 3 to 4 persons and apartments for 4 to 5 persons. The accommodations are modern, complete and all units have air conditioning.

Vibrant colors

In July 2005 we bought the apartment complex “Bahia Inn” in Lagun. As the apartments looked old and tired we completely renovated and brought them up to modern standards.
Also they now have a new look with the fresh, vibrant colors where Curacao is so famous for.

The outside walls are Trupial yellow. The trupial is a local songbird with a beautiful vivid yellow and black color scheme. Inside the walls are a combination of white and heavenly blue and the roof of the buildings are green so the total package blends in with the natural surroundings.
Each apartment is named after a bird found on Curacao. In every apartment there is a folder where you can discover more about these beautiful birds. We chose the following birds: Suikerdiefje (Bananaquit), Kolibrie (Hummingbird), Makuaku (Frigatebird), Chuchubi (Tropical Mockingbird), Bubi (Brown Booby), Snepi (Least Sandpiper), Meuchi (Laughing Gull) and the Pelican. We live in the Trupial.

Beautiful location

The apartments overlook the beautiful Lagun Bay and the Caribbean Sea. The beach is only a couple steps down, relax on the beach and if you get thirsty you can walk right back up the stairs to get a refreshing drink. What else do you want?
The fishermen of Lagun set out and return everyday from the beach and all fish caught get cleaned and sold on the spot. A beautiful thing to see, and if you want a nice fish on the barbecue you will not find any fish fresher than here.
At night the bay and the beach are illuminated which gives a spectacular effect on the ocean blue water. The light also helps in providing a secure environment on the beach.

Bahia Apartments & Diving are the ideal accommodation for all persons visiting Curacao, especially for divers. We can make dive arrangements and will inform you on request.
The Lagun house reef is about 30 yards off of the coast and there are plenty of other great diving locations nearby. Snorkeling in the bay is a true event because you can see so many beautiful fish swim by. Also for families with children there is always something to do and to see. If you’re lucky you can see the dolphins swim by and sea turtles are also spotted regularly. And lets not forget the Iguana. This is one of the most impressive reptiles you will find on our shores and can grow up to two yards long. Hours can be spend looking at them, as it seems they just stepped out of prehistoric times.
